Were you actually physically shifting using the paddle shifters? From what I heard, best way to run the AT Steptronic is to...
1: Turn off DTC/DSC 2: Put it in "Manual" Mode 3: Feather it a little on take off so no tire spin and then pedal to the metal 4: Let the car shift itself at redline through 4th gear

After talking to some of the other guys driving 335 AT, I found out that most of them where launching at about 3 to 3.5k and padddle shifting @6k through all the gears. I tried that and improved on the next 3 passes |

I Was There Too, It Was My First Time AT TRACK WITH E90 6MT.
AnyWAYS, I Was Running Jb+@50%,bms Dci,catback Exhaust, And M6 Rep Wheels With Some Cheap Tires Lol. Well It Was Fun. |

Same, 6MT here but I have driven with and without the SSTT and either way going much past 6k RPM's slows you down. Car just falls on it's face, I find it best to shift around 6100-6300. Definitely no need to hit anywhere near 7k!

Oh I dont know, my car is new and havent had a chance to run it yet. But I do agree, it dies right before redline. Anyone know the best way to launch? Im still playing around with that
