OP I feel your pain --

I have a '09 alpine white 335 that I drive very lilttle, so I try to keep it in "showroom condition"-- bumpers will be bumpers, getting a knick or 2 is par for the course. I took a drive up the coast and came back with tiny chips in front bumper cover- I beat myself up for all of 20mins and pulled out the touch up paint and went to work.

Thinking that was gonna be my only incident, I condfidently backed ever so gently into a freakin' barrel in a restuarant parking lot (35mins ago -- stupid, stupid, stupid!!). It just grazed the bumper and no paint was damaged, just a lil crease in the rear bumper cover (which seems to be returning to it original form - or maybe its my imagination). So even the smallest infraction is a nightmare.... these things too will pass and I see you are taking steps to move on, good show, sorry to hear .. but always remember "a clean car is a happy car"!! good luck with the new ramps too

haha. Thanks man. Maybe this stuff is more noticeable because of our "lighter" colored cars? Anyway, it is a daily driver and by no means a museum piece, so I'll take it it all in stride. I'll definitely be on the lookout for barrels however the next time I'm backing up in a parking lot.
