The stock color goes well the signal bulbs. I just put on my Lux 5.0 and wish I swapped out my bulbs while everything was exposed, it takes away the blue effect from the Lux's.

That has to do with the factory fiber optics more than the bulbs. BMW designed the headlights so the inner rings are brighter than the outers which makes it difficult to get even illumination.

< Check out my avatar < I tried the led/xenon color and went back. I love the contrast between the stock halo's and the xenon. Don't get me wrong, the aftermarket halos (6,000K) look great by themselves without the xenon on, but with xenons it's not that special. I do agree that it can depend on the color of your car. And while were on the subject of opinions... Ive seen some ppl with the bright halo's drive at night with their xenons off and only hid fog lights. (Flame suit on!) |

I have to agree with some, I prefer the stock ones too. I find what's out there for AE mods too blue for my taste. I'd be all over a white LED that's got a bit of a yellow tinge to it (4000k or 5000 k maybe). LED's FTW though, when done right, they're so much more visible.
