imo those are gross. they dont go with the car at all. Offsets look terrible. to top it off you were recommended to get the same size tires front and rear on staggered wheels? I wouldnt go to that rim guy ever again!

I did that, but not on recommendation by the shop. I have an xi which naturally understeers and didn't want to exaggerate it even more.

The more I look at them, the more I get the sense that they might actually look good on an Audi A8.

they look terrible. I'd get vellanos if I was going 20's or BBS as others have mentioned. These just take so much away from the nice styling on the e92. But, if it makes you happy, then that is all that matters

it looks like they stick out a little bit, which makes them look a little too big with that wheel design. reminds me a bit of a donk. In case you don't know what a "donk" is in belgium:

Go with 19s on these. The fact that the spokes go all the way to the edge of the rim make them look really big.

... and that's what I've done. I did'n know this 'rim guy' before, and I'll definitely never will get to know him better; because of his 'very professional' help .
I've called another one - which I completely forgot about at first - who lives in a nearby village. I suggested to go for a 265/30/20 (@ 9.5x20" ~ ET30) + 235/30/20 (@ 8.5x20" ~ ET30) setup; but he told me that if I take a 20" (255 or wider) the rear tyre has to be a 25; 'cause a 30 wouldn't fit the car. Is this true; because imo, a 25 profile is very (read: too) small/flat...? In the end, he offered me voluntarily to go for a 255/25/20 + 225/30/20 setup (the same width as my current OEM 230 ~ 19"), there I don't want to go too wide with the tyres...
BTW, anyone has any experience with Nankung () tyres? Or what brand do you suggest (I'm definitely not a circuit/street racers, but it's still a 335i)!

Thanks for your advice

Thx for learning me the english language, I guess I'll never forget this word after seeing your illustration of it . Anyway, that's certainly not what want to reach... I gues the bad weather here in Belgium does shrink the wheels

20" wheels on an e9x? Whew, not for me. Looks bad and I imagine drives even worse.

Nothing wrong with the ride...mine is actually smoother on the 20's than the std 18" 193m with runflats...but tyre choice is also crucial. I went with Dunlops based on their ride comfort and low noise levels.

I did 20inch on 8x20ET37 235/30/20 Pzero nero and 9x20ET37 255/30/20 conti sport cont 3
It fits, no rubbing etc, but I would subjest you 245 at the front

25 series is ok only on 285/25/20 on 10X20ET40 but it is too whide
