Both are great wheels, there are some major difference you are going to notice between the two brands.

Forgestar F-14: A light weight and strong wheel for a great price! These wheels use the same technology as Formula 1 and Indy Cars. Advan/BBS use the same technology and sell their wheels for the range of $3000 where as the Forgestars are only $1399.

VMR V715: These wheels are definitely very nice, they are made in a differently, they go through low pressure cast manufacturing process. The wheels will be unfortunately a bit heavier.

Two problems with your post.

1. Forgestar are NOT made using the same technology as F1 wheels. Forgestar are flow-formed (which is great BTW), however, F1 wheels use multi-directional net forging which is in no way similar to F1 technology...

2. VMR wheels are gravity cast, not low-pressure cast.
