If a old barge of an M6 is welcome then put me and missus down.

The only date I don't really want to do is the 19/20th as the 20th is a BMW Show at Santa Pod - worth remembering if you wanted to attend that. It's normally a good day as the runs are unlimited and it's not normally as busy as a normal Run What Ya Brung day.

Viv/Tony,

Fantastic choice of location for UK8. A fabulous and underrated part of the UK.

Oh, and it is very close to me, 35miles from house # 1 and 25 miles from house # 2

Only problem is that I don't own a BMW at present but would still love to come along if I am free. The CLK55 should be sold and driven away this Saturday so I will have the choice of Mercedes 'Bus' or pretentious BMW Mini Cooper......

The other way round actually. Every show day you end up queing AGES nearly an hour Between runs, Ive run over 40 times though in one day on a RWYB.

Weekends are always chock-a-block for me so it's doubtful I'll be there but will keep my eyes on the chosen weekend and what's happening at my end. My wife is commited to a year long course every Saturday which means I've got the little one.

If I send along this little Monkey and teddy would you guys look after them so I can have a break (she'll be OK as long as I program the Nav for her)...

Sorry, I don't understand the point you are making Carl. From your part of the world Windermere is about 280 miles, Edinburgh is about 450 miles

Edinburgh to Windermere is about 170 miles.

280 miles @ 70-80mph on the motorway = about a 4 hour journey.
