the pics always look great but im curious about how it feels and if it seems like a downgrade at all in person

Super tempted to try this, but haven't found a DIY to remove the trim for some reason. Did you follow one?

BTW it obviously looks sick, just as everyone else said

You peel it off and clean the residue with goo gone. Easy.
