Ive had the 9500 for a while now, really like it, never seen a V1, so I have no comparison.

V1 ftw ... a lot of people complain that it goes off a lot I would rather have it go off then not ... I also have the remote display but haven't mounted it yet on my 335 but the arrows are awesome
two of my friends have the 9500ix and both of their GPS's stopped working ... radar still works but I figure that is why you pay the extra money

I had a V1 but I drive mostly in the city and the falses were driving me crazy. I have the 9500ix now and it's great with the GPS features to keep falses minimized.

Brother has the V1 and it works pretty good, during the ride up from Bimmerfest it picked up a cop like 1.5 miles away ahead of us. Recently I picked up the 9500ix and we compared it side by side. 9500ix was a bit more sensitive and the GPS feature for Red Camera lights etc is great and it is upgradeable

i have to escort 9500ix i love it so much i pick up cops everywhere and it blocks out electric door frequencies. My friend had the v1 got rid of it for the escort 9500ix and loves it he said the v1 was cool but it was picking up signals that werent radars. passport alll the way!!!!!

ive had a 8500 for 8yrs now and its worked flawlessly but if it ever goes down id get a v1. the arrows alone make it worth it. its kinda annoying not knowing where the hwy patrol is hiding, but atleast u know they are there.

i think im leaning towards 9500ix, i do mostly city driving...
Only thing that holding me from getting 9500ix is the LED color (blue), i wish it comes with red, so it will be color coordinated with instrument cluster lights...

its worth it to get the escort 9500ix but dont forget it will help u but ur eyes are wat is needed the most. I learned two days ago when i got three tickets in one stop failure to signal, following to close, and speeding but he had no speed. Good luck with ur radar watever one u get
