Im in Oxnard and will be picking up an e92 335i as soon as I get back home in a couple weeks. I like all the local canyons, I try to do runs atleast once a week in my FD. Im sure the e92 wont be as fun at first but I plan to do a few suspension and power mods to get it to handle pretty decent and hopefully be pretty quick. I would be down for some meets.

do you play basketball or into golf? we're always looking for people to play in TO some nights and if you golf you can go to Tom Barber in Moorpark off the 23, they're open pretty late.

Wow...way to revive my ancient dead thread! I live in the Thousand Oaks area now but recently have been going back and forth to Long Beach/Lakewood for work. I hardly ever see ANYONE!

haha I am only at the dealership maybe 1 day a month if that. but when i am down there that place is pretty slow nothing much going on, but the town i live in Solvang is even worse!

Yes, I'm the right guy to talk to. I talked to Julia about it and why she said no. Though I do admit it would be cool, believe it or not, it's just too much of a p.i.t.a. to execute on our end. We would have to have a hold harmless agreement (which one of you is going to sign on behalf of everyone?) and a bunch of other crap as well which I don't want to dive into. To be honest, right now I just don't have the time to invest in making this work just yet. I like the idea but like I said above, it actually involves a lot of planning on our end. There are some potential backlashes as well that may probably keep us from doing it (i.e. what if a bunch of other car groups see it and want to utilize that area now too? That area wasn't designed for a car show purpose and we technically don't support car shows on property).

With all that said...I won't say it won't happen in the future...but just not right now.
