Tint Group Buy Sj/philly!

I'd like to get tint, and have thought about it since I bought the car last year, but i'm worried that it can't be done in a way that i'll be happy with. How many of the confirmed guys are in e92's? It looks like they handle the dots by putting black vinyl over them as this picture shows from their forum. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y12...n/117_1738.jpg There are other cars in there with the black vinyl. Maybe those customers asked for that, but i'd just want the tint.
Then i can't decide on what tint level to get. I think 30-35 would be the right amount of sun protection and night visibility, but everyone tells me go darker.
And then my final question is what type of tint to get. Initially i thought that from reviews the ceramic tint would be best for me...but that new llumar AIR blue stuff sounds great from the press release stats. http://www.llumar.com/pdf/News/NRAIRBlueLaunch.pdf I wonder if SoG can install that?

i am going with either 40 on the sides, 30 on the rear windows or, 30 all around, not sure yet. they can install whichever tint but they only use top of the line stuff. the ceramic stuff isnt necessary

nice!..from what i remember it was just about right, think i will go with 30 all around..

$180 is cheap, and it's for all windows. With things like tint you usually get what you pay for, plus knowing that they can do the dot matrix perfect with the vinyl the small price difference is worth the piece of mind.

Make sure to take close ups of the dot matrix on the rear window, if it comes out good that's a steal.

did you guys get it tinted? I just want to know what your thoughts are of the tint job from shades of grey. Also any distortion with the metallic tint?

Dont know if this GB got done but I was involved with two other GB's with SOG and they do only top notch work. Never any problems with the tint or complications with remotes not working.

+1. Although I wasn't involved in either of those GBs, I went to them earlier this year to get my tint done. I'm extremely happy with my tint thus far.

Go with what philipnoi has, he has space gray too and whatever he had looked perfect to me. Heres a pic, it may look darker on your car since his interior was very light(lemon), and the sun was shining when this was taken.
