Hello. The Clear bra is a def a great idea. And the clear bra is OE for Porsche and BMW. The OE pattern is Xpel designs.

Xpel only makes the designs, they do not make the film, but they do recommend 3M. In most cases 3M is going to be the best for durability etc but if you want a show finish with no orange peel and a perfect install then you probably want to go with an Avery film or a Venture film. These films are going to require more maintenance etc.

Plexus is a plastic polish that is effective on instrument panel covers, clear bras, vert vinyl rear windows etc. I've used Plexus extensively on plastic pieces and it's very good when worked with a good MF towel. Most of the online detail retailers carry it. I've never seen it in local auto stores though.

Yea you can't buy individual cans in regular stores. Some stores carry cases but that's really expensive and pointless. You can order it online at most detailing sites. My clear bra installer also said he will sell me individual cans for a really good price when i run out.
