This reminds me of a story a mate told me many years ago.

He was sharing a billet room in the RAF with a friend that had a Tarantula.

His mate had a bad habit of coming back quite drunk and taking his tarantula out for a play.

My friend would wake up in the morning to see his mate slumped in a chair and the lid to the Tarantula tank open.



He was always afraid to move, or get out of bed in case it was near him ...

Much harsh shouting usually ensued.

When I worked for Toyota, we had a child who was carrying a gerbal around in a Toyota Previa, and it escaped. We had to strip the WHOLE interior out to find the bastard. It was a happy ending .
