This may be lame... but flying my rc plane. Just let's you relax and forget things. All your focus is on the plane. You watch it fly and you control it. It's really fun... great hobby too.

Most have been mentioned already, Video games, listening to music (classical on vinyl, Bach is my favorite). Golfing can be hit or miss, if you're having a really bad day, then go out and shoot a shitty round, you could be in a worse mood by the time your done.

nothing clears my mind like fishing though. I will literally think of nothing while fishing. It's nice when you catch one but not really needed for me.

barely any rivers/lake here in cali... unless i'm willing to travel far. Although I live near an ocean. So it's more like.

friends? party? That usually does it for me like maybe I study an entire week and I party hard to release my stress at a good party. Gym works too, maybe take a nice drive out with a scenic route, maybe PCH?

I don't have a nice car yet to tool around in unfortunately. I thought about fishing but I don't know the area well enough like home to get some where.

After prayer and mediation, taking out the wife to ice cream, or chicken wings (stuff we used to do during dating). Brings back a lot of good memories.
