I don't think people here are talking about the primary cats in the DP's. They want to know if you will have a Hi-flow catted version in your exhaust setup for those with catless DP's???

Omg I LOVE this exhaust and I'm Def. going to get one when I have the proper funds! How the hell did you guys get that much more power out of the Gen. 2 system from what it was with the 1st exhaust? If I'm reading the numbers correctly, this exhaust is certainly Outstanding in performance figures compared to any other system for this car. Nice Work!

I can't believe this only weighs 44 pounds for a full DP-back, dual 2.5" exhaust system

I did some research and it appears:
stock is 78
AE is 62
HKS is 61
AMS is 52 (single 3" after conversion)
Vanguard is 51
Borla is 51 (not sure if full DP-back though)

So if you are 44 lbs that is quite amazing

Any other thoughts on this?

I suspect the weight difference is for a couple of reasons...

1. AA doesn't have CNC flanges connecting the rear section to the midpipes, but instead uses slip joints with clamps.

2. There are no resonators whatsoever.

That looks to be the difference. This is basically a straight pipe back to the mufflers. It is light, but it has to be pretty loud. It will be interesting to hear reviews.

Its effectively the same as their original exhaust based on the reading material. They are just doing a better job of marketing it this time around.

My exhaust is a nice mellow tone. Its not obtrusive at all for cruising but when you open it up it sounds great. I can't really explain and to be honest I havent heard many other exhausts in person. Im young and everyones tolerances for "loud" are different but I hardly consider the exhaust to be obtrusive at all and I'd have no problem taking future clients out in it without them thinking im some kind of boy racer.

I'm really happy with mine and never understood why others on the forum never paid much attention to the last generation exhaust.

The system is not that loud at all, sound will be basically the same as the previous setup. Biggest difference with this system is the fact that it is bolt on. If you guys have any other questions feel free to ask.
