how often am I gonna have to polish it? and should i polish the outside or just wipe it down every so often?

Hmm.. can't really give you a schedule to follow. I guess just whenever they get yellow. The outside will not yellow as fast as the inside, especially with the double walled construction, so you can get away with just wiping it.

from personal experience on another car, the yellowing is most likely do to the tips themselves. the tips were probably made with a lower grade stainless steel which makes them turn yellow faster due to the heat.

update: tips themselves were not getting yellow, it seems that because of a canyon run the day after with a combination of rain caused the tips to look yellowish and discolored, wiped em up today (just a wet rag) and they look great, gonna fully wash the car tomorrow and report back
