Unfortunately, there's just no way for us to source it separately from BMW.

Maybe you can source a used one somehow?

+100 to Tischer. Ordered parts yesterday and will be at my friends place in VA today. Now that is service

Don't blame them for BMW Canada being a bunch of wankers.

For the courier pickup option, I'd strongly recommend USPS. In my history of car part shipments through USPS, I've never had to pay any additional fees. I definitely can't say the same for UPS. Never used FEDEX so I can't comment.

I recall when I used UPS for shipping with the purchase from Tirerack to Toronto. The rims and tires are 1800 US or 2000 US can't remember now (3 yrs ago). UPS billed me for $500 CAD for tax and brokage fees and admin fees when the items arrived.

I was like WTF, I call UPS and they have all the explanation that you can't argue about.

For USPS, yes they are the best. Somehow the custom skipped if the value is under $50 USD to Canada. For my recent purchase with LUX Angel eyes, they marked it as @ 150 and the custom I have to paid is 25 dollars. Which is acceptable.

I was trying to go through a transaction with a US seller for COD (Cash on delivery)..but seems like USPS don't do it for overseas or to Canada. Only UPS does. Can anyone clarify that? Thanks.

Yes, UPS was bad back then, but it is much better now. If you have an account with them, they charge only GST + PST (which is total of 13% of declared value) - no additional fees. I am not sure if they charge any extra fees if you do not have an account, but I think they do not. Anyway, getting a UPS account is worth it - it's free, gets you discount on shipping and some free packaging supplies.

both UPS and Fedex are such rip offs when it comes to brokerage fees... USPS ftw!! too bad a lot of sellers cant ship by USPS and USPS doesnt ship very large packages either.

Here's my Tischer story.....I ordered an painted aero lip from Tisher in May, they shipped it via USPS but it was too big so they had to ship it via UPS. I get the lip and get charged close to $500 in duties/brokerage. Turns out the wrong invoice was attached to the lip so I e-mail Tischer and about 20 mins later I get a reply asking me how much I wanted back. I told them how much extra I was charged and the money was in my Paypal account. Unbelievable service and one of the best online retailers I've ever dealt with.

Has any successfully ordered from Tischer recently using a USPS/UPS pickup option?

I checked with UPS and FedEx and was told that they would not ship to my address in Canada. I would have to pick up the package at one of their border offices. That's pretty useless for me in Nova Scotia as it's about a 6 hour drive to the closest town on the U.S. border.

Use FedEx ground for pick up.

I would but I'm in Alberta! I am going to look into getting Fedex to pick up some stuff from them. They charge duty at delivery?

Did FedEx deliver to your address in Canada? How did you set it up? Thanks.
