Honestly, I think the other thread is a joke. This one however is not. As ashamed as I am to have allowed someone to steal this much money from me, I do not really have words to explain how I feel. You may think I am foolish or careless but that is not the case. The reasons that I am putting this on the website is not in hopes to recover the money although that would be nice wouldn't it! But moreso just to vent a little. Plus, y'all are my friends! This doesn't hurt me financially in a way that is unrecoverable, however it does hurt. That is money I could put away from my son, think about it. That could've paid a portion of his first year college tuition or something.... ANYTHING. damn. I just hope I've overlooked it and its just under a cushion at my home or something... I am not counting on it, however there is definately some foul play involved here. I know I did not spend it and its not where its supposed to be.

I feel ya bro. I'd want to vent too. Well, if it makes you feel any better, if I found $4k, I'd more than likely turn it in. To me, 5K is a good chunk of money so I'd feel bad if I were the reason someone lost that. Have you checked if anyone has turned it in?

There is a check inside the envelope with my name and my companies name on it. If someone turned it in, I would have been notified. The owners know I lost it.
