I've got an APB on these fucking birds (sounds like gang activity). When found, they will be prosecuted under the fullest extent of the bird crap laws, wings clipped and incarcerated in a maximum security birdcage. No outside visits from any other "birds". They will suffer the indignity they've caused to your 328i!!!!!

For swirls, i use Poorboys SSR1 and SSR2 and an orbital Porter Cable 7424. But that's really for a car full of swirls. Supposedly, you can take a light polish such as menerza or SSR1 and remove light swirls by hand using a soft microfiber towel, but I've never actually tried it. You could try a cleaner wax such as Mother's, to see if it takes care of the etching, and move to a polish if it doesn't work out. Good luck!

yeah ive got some bird shat residue on my tiag...tried meguires bug and tar and quick detailer...nothing, nada...shit residue is still there.
