Both DPs are great. Never heard a single bad thing about either. I think the only reasoning for one or another at this point is which vendor you'd like to support. |

**********s black friday deal ends today, so if you're going to buy today I say buy the AR Design @ $560 from **********s.
After today I'd go with MS for $600. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?p=6270593

I think "afford" is the wrong terminology to use. Different suppliers offer different pricing. It all comes down to resource reach with each company.

AR is the one that's proven and really been the one I know about (from what I am hearing here on forums, not in person the MS is good product again I can't confirm that). Don't really know to much about MS or the company to much so my vote goes to the proven AR design one.
Anyway as mentioned welcome to take advantage of the cyber monday deal ending today.. 4 hours. |

I have done some extensive research of DPs and have been waiting a while to get them...I am glad I waited this long because if I would have pulled the trigger a year ago and bought the RR or the URs, I would not be a happy camper after seeing the AR in person...I have not seen one negative post on the quality and fitment of the AR DPs...Macht Schnells are relatively new, so there is not as much info or feedback just yet on them that would make me confident enough to buy them right now...If I had to order today, I would go the AR route based on all the positive reviews from people who purchased them and installers....Well I did order THEM LAST WEEK!!!:happyanim :

I think I'm going to go with the AR. I want to see how much they are coated since heat is always a killer in the summer
gotta think ahead since that's when most of the fun goes down!

Now, my dream has ended. I'll be honest... You won't get, if you don't ask. So I always make these hints haha. What I'd like to see is the blueprints if you will, measurements etc for the AR cuts and MS cuts. I'd like to compare them and then make a rip off version... ERRrrr. I mean, in the name of science and informing the community I tell ya! |

I would be very much surprised if there was any difference in gains between the 2 pipes.
I've seen the 2 side by side and they are extremely similar. But, there is definitely a difference between the 2.5" and the 3" http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...6974&highlight

That's good news if they're that similar. Makes it an easier choice to just go for the better deal. I really wanted to get the MS but couldn't find any really good deals with thermal coating included so I guess I will end up getting ar.
I just didn't want to be another person hopping on yet another band wagon.
