well since you asked...

ETS AIT data 41 degree temp rise in a 2-4 gear run with what looks like a 50 degree ambient temp(this data is taken off of the ETS gb post)

Helix AIT data 6 degree temp rise in a 2-4 gear run with what looks like a 90+ degree ambient temp(this data was logged independantly by Sniz)

I have seen you post misinformation about the Helix the last several days, in regards to the Helix is too Big and Bulky. Well, an intercooler is a heat sink, the ambient face, fin count as well as mass play a huge part in how well an intercooler performs.
-Helix does not use an off the shelf core, rather we use a totally custom core designed to my specifications. I designed the intercooler to have as large an ambient face as possible without having to remove factory cowling.
-The Helix is heavy and is designed that way, this mass is what serves to absorb the heat out of the charge air and prevent heat soak, as even a blind man can see the Helix DOES NOT heat soak and takes a much longer time for the temps to even start rising.
-Our internal fin count is as dense as you can get and serves to provide a huge surface area for heat dissipation, but also has an excellent pressure drop of only .5 psi at 450hp worth of air flow.

Our hope is that the people purchasing our intercooler have made their decision by looking at and PROPERLY understanding the data presented(our data matches EXACTLY our independant end user data) as well as reviews by our end users and other tuners. on that note here are some quotes from Shiv after he tested our FMIC as had also tried a few other FMICs prior

“I've been testing the Helix FMIC and it keeps IATs within a couple degrees of ambient. Pretty ridiculous. In a good way, of course. And it doesn't block too much of the radiator either. That would be my recommendation.”
Shiv

“I've tested 3 different aftermarket FMICs in my car and the Helix unit performed the best in terms of cooling efficiency and pressure loss. I don't see things getting much better than that to be honest.”
Shiv

Helix will have 8 FMICs in stock in about 7-10 days and will honor GB pricing thru the holidays!

Recommend the Helix. Minimal cutting/trimming and the unit is HUGE. The helix feels like it weighs 5X more than the stocker. Makes you wonder why bmw even but the stocker on haha

excuse me? there is no misinformation I wrote down! I wrote that weight was important for me and the Helix was heavy (compared to some other smaller ones), there is no "misinformation" about this what so ever.
Helix has a good track record in performance and this is something I will for sure will not deny!

cheers Marcel

Where are the pressure drop readings done? At the ends of the core? Or at the ends of the end tanks?

Wouldn't it be best if everyone did the 2nd reading at the charge pipe, since the end tanks designs can effect how the rubber tubes bend as well.

(sorry I'm not good with the appropriate technical language lol)

FLA 335, I will be doing more testing on a new intercooler in a month or two. Until then, I am trying to stay a little quiet.

+1

It's more expensive than Helix or AMS though - but IMO well worth the price.

I have just been continuing my process of testing items. I haven't found an item that out performed the AA intercooler to this point. My current IC has tested out nearly identical to the AA in terms of performance thus far. I will post more in the future though.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but the ETS graph shows outlet temps and the Helix chart shows INLET temps. Of course inlet temps are going to stay constant. Am I missing something?

Inlet refers to the TMAP reading before the throttle body. So this is the air temperature as it is about to enter the throttle body about 2 feet after the outlet of the intercooler.
