lol...I was thinking about taking a trip to boston myself since I've never been there and it's not too far. If not, maybe bear mountain (drive around for a few hours).

My brother lives in Boston proper. If your sister is outside in the suburbs, you might be alright.

i was told by my CA that the next update they'll get is when the carrier releases the car to the dealership. they wouldn't know when the inspections will be done? i'm not even sure if it's even at the vpc right now, but still hoping for pickup next weekend.

Since 10/12 my car has been in transit to the VPC...and today DCSnet (bmw onlin tracker service/app)was down for maintenance, so it anybody's guess where are cars are.

One thing to note is that the Intergrity is due to dock tomorrow 10/15. I 'm assuming they need to move our cars to make space for the Intergrity, but I may be wrong.

Did anybody speak to their CA?

hey guys, been seeing those posts about the software upgrade for our cars, and it actually made it worst. should i call my CA and tell him not to upgrade it?

I was thinking about the same thing. What else is that upgrade for?

some indicated that the low end torque has decreased, and others has said that it messed up their phone book in the navi screen. i bet if i ask my CA, he's gonna say there's no bulletin stating anything about this. we e90post members seem to know more about these stuffs than they do. sad, but all they kinda know is how to sell new cars.

i'm thinking of asking them to install the lo jack early warning and tints, but the price is pretty steep. the tint is $400 which i think is overpriced. they said it's laser cut (probably just more precise to the windows' shape than the ones out there), but i don't need that kinda job when i could have it for $200-$250 in my local area w/ a satisfying job. lo jack early warning is $1200, and i'm not sure if i'll get it again like my 06' 330i. didn't find it useful, but it was for a piece of mind. i might actually pass on the lo jack and spend it on other upgrades. are u getting anything else questnyc?

I'm considering having them install the alarm, which they will give $100 off of. They still need to get back to me about the possibility and the price of just geting the front lip of the aerokit (I don't like how the rear). Back to the original thread... Did any of you guys take delivery of your car yet? How many days are we talking before they finish VPC and put on a carrier?

Mine was discharged from the Beheme early last Thursday morning along with several others from this thread. Just curious if you guys in NY, NJ had seen anything. I'm outside Philly and chomping at the proverbial bit here.
