Ok Guys, Found some great info.

I tallked to the director of the Turbo Lab (old professor of mine) at A&M and he refered me to a world renoun expert on mist cooling of Gas Turbines Cyrus B. Meher-Homji who works for Bechtal in Houston and is a cheif engineer on turbine technology for ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers). I sent him an email today and I am waiting for him to reply but in the mean time I found this great paper on the topic.

http://www.meefog.com/downloads/308_...sideration.pdf

The important section on erosion is on page 3 section 5.1 which basically says that several studies have shown there is nothing to worry about, as a matter of fact it can take a dust particle up to about 10 microns in size without errosion, so it can clearly take a water droplet of much larger size so the conclusion so far for me is do it but I will continue to research this and see what Homji replies because I gave him the specs to our turbo and rpm we operate at and the meth systems we use.

Now I want to research how much the intake charge will cool from a notrous mist shot and what effects that will have on the metalurgy, becasue Notrous colling > meth colling

as i understand "pre-compressor" is the nozzle in the intake pipe. but we have twin turbochargers, so you would need 2 nozzles "pre-compressor" and 1 nozzle "pre-tb". is that ok?

Sweet... I can't wait to see this. Someone do it right in front of the compressors and don't be panzies... Worst case scenario you just upgrade to some RB Turbos.

OP, how about changing the name of the thread to "pre-turbo meth/water injection - big turbo potential" since that is what we are really debating, it will help to get more exposure And discussion I think, maybe not, Just a suggestion
