Wow that pretty restrictive with 300cell cats...Hmm I wonder what your numbers would be if you were completely catless...

Its weird how high the 335i's read on dynojets.

But when you run against DLSJ5's bolt-on M3, your cars are basically dead even.

I know bolt-on M3's are not pulling numbers that large on a dynojet.

I guess its the whole realworld hp vs dyno hp.

150 rwhp delta. Strong numbers Mr. 5 and inline with what other tunes are making at that boost. GIAC certainly is now proving you can get similar power on flashes as piggybacks.

I am going to be curious to see how your car compares on the street to a JB3 or Procede car on methanol running 17 psi.

So, with METH you only gain 19+ WHP? that seems to be low?

stage 2 plus is not the meth/race gas map but the 93-94 octane one.
GIAC is working now on the real METH map with increased boost.

WOw they are already pushing close to 16.3, I wonder how high the boost psi is going to be with devoted Meth/race, if there is such a thing!...18+! IMO I think a flash should not have a option of Meth map unless you can switch between maps because not everyone is always going to need such an aggressive map for daily driving...

I use it for daily driving but I don't use the meth that much.
My meth is set to come on at 4 psi and it's surprising with how much I don't use it.
The great thing about the turbos is that you only use it when needed so I don't know why anyone wouldn't use this map if they have meth installed.

Waiting for GIAC stage 2

Got a limp mode yesterday at 230 km/h when stepping off the gas (some dumbo changing lanes without using the rearview mirror) and stepping on it a fraction of a second later again, not funny. First limp mode ever I got with my Evotech flash, car didn't respond to the throttle, had to switch off the engine and start it again. Ran without problems then, but I'm not too reassured. Of course, as I am getting some longer cranks these days it could also be the dreaded HPFP (or spark plugs? will get them replaced next week), but I hope that's not the case.

Anyway, if it's the flash (and I already got the half-engine light from it one some occasions) then I'm looking forward to the release of GIAC's stage 2+ flash now more than ever.

Happy holidays,

Alpina_B3_Lux
