You can have a body shop do it or find someone local that does it. It's pretty common practice really. A little bit of research and I'm sure you can find someone in your area. Cost is around $50-75 typically.

If you like the look and you're planning on keeping the car for awhile I'd go ahead and do it. Tint may not be as permanent but it doesn't even look close to as good.

Just make sure that your lights are still bright enough that the cops won't give you any trouble. I got pulled over and he almost wrote me a ticket on my depo-blacklines but since the lights were bright and clear, even with the sun in his eyes, he didn't care enough to write me up.

They had 3 shades, light, mid and dark. I wanted light, but I was told that there light shade had a bluish hue to it, so I opted for the mid. It's basically just tint and they apply it the same way they would to windows.

Yeah, I think with that, it'd be pretty freakin cool. I like the darker for sure, though.

I had tinted tailights (painted) on my mercedes befor I got my 335, did them at a body shop and after I got pulled over for them I took them off. So if the body shop does it correctly they should be reversable. The part you should be worried about is the cops.

PM me if you want to vinyl your taillights, or if you want to paint them. I do gloss smokes and matte. Light smoke, medium, or dark. Whatever you want.

Here's an example of an IS350 that I did a medium satin smoke on:

Oracle 8300 Vinyl (I think that's what it was)...was medium color.
