You can also buy a valve cap that can be set to detect a pressure drop of 4 psi and light up an LED. This is easily detected and obviously shows which tire needs some air. Amazon sells them for about $22.

Thank you all for this great info and clarification, but I want to confirm the following points as I'm considering wheels and want to be as prepared as possible for any additional parts if required. Can someone please confirm the following summary:

1. For Canadian E92s, the sensor is still software-based and no actual hardware (either from the existing wheels or new sensors) need to be mounted on the new wheels?

2. Will a warning light come up if you were to swap wheels? And if so, can it be reset, and will instructions to that reset be included in the owner's manual?

Again -- thanks in advance for any further clarification/confirmation! Much appreciated!

No to both questions, at least not for me when I swapped my tires with the winter set.
