The AMS system looks like it uses a Vibrant muffler, it could be built for much less than they charge for it.

Guys check this out!
This is really interesting and accurate for the debate between BMW Performance and Eisenmann Race Exhaust... I think it's the only video where you actually see both exhausts compared I was already convinced anyways but here's a heads up to the BMW Performance Exhaust fanatics [u2b]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/4C930TMKWOY&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/4C930TMKWOY&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/u2b] |

I liked the AMS exhaust at first but now your relieved me when you said that it's poorly manufactured Another reason to keep BMW Performance Exhaust on the head of the list! |

The $500 they are talking about is the Top Speed 335i exhaust. Not bad for the price...

Have you considered AE Performance ? Also keep in mind the sound will differ if you're running catless DPs and/or exhaust system is catless or with high flow cats.
http://grassrootsmotorsports.com/art...ive-decisions/ AE Performance Exhaust. It does come in the true quad configuration [u2b]c4WwGH9g3Rs&feature[/u2b] [u2b]0jKD3awAflE&NR[/u2b] [u2b]WjRigGP26N8&feature[/u2b] [u2b]slYmbiL9Rkw&feature[/u2b] [u2b]s7_QMXozRGI&NR[/u2b] Something else that might be of interest to you comparing sounds. Not sure if it'll sounds the same on 335i, since comparisons were done between M3's http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=321956

i honestly think that you can't lose with AE, Vanguard, Eisenmann, or BMW PE. Personally, I prefer ONLY OEM mods (performance and exterior), so I would definitely go with the BMW PE. I actually never even considered another exhaust for any of my previous bmws (even Dinan). But with the release of the BMW PE, I'm in.

The BMW Performance, AE and Vanguard all sound really good. An exhaust was pretty low on the priority, but depending on price....
That Vanguard really has me intrigued though!

Guys...
I found the most AMAZING video featuring the BMW Performance Exhaust on an Alpine White E91 LCI 335i... Listen to the sickness of the sound and its BMW Genuine appeal and tell me what you think!!! BMW Performance Exhaust FTMFW!! On average, you're looking at b/t $1200 and $1800...depending on where/who you talk to.

Our BMW dealer had another 335i with the performance exhaust installed by the port and they were sticking out just as far as mine. Seems like a design issue, not an install. Hope that helps. BTW, make sure that after the install, you drive it around and get the fittings hot, them put it back up on the rack and have the fittings tightened one more time - VERY IMPORTANT |
