Yeah Dutch! Your probably right!

Shiv is valet working for this new firmware and also the valet speed limiter?

As for the methanol setup....will the wire that triggers the 12 volt signal before to change maps still be used along with the new wire that outputs the .01-5 volt flow in ml? I just want to know if I need to run another wire to the ECU box or I can just snip that old wire and reconnect it to the 1-5 volt thats already running into ECU box...Thanks

The methanol setup with map switching is working so perfect already, I can't wait to see how much better its going to be with the progressive meth mapping!!

Good to hear. For v4's meth input, you will route the blue wire from the meth flow detector to what was formerly in IAT input (tap) on the Procede. This means cutting that wire in the harness and joining it with the blue wire. That signal input is not needed anymore because we are getting IAT from the CANbus. Super easy but full pics/instructions will be up soon.

Both. The actual P,I and D values haven't changed (as they are defined in the map, not the firmware). But the activation conditions have been improved. And so have the running algorithms.

Cool...Shiv will the green wire from the safeinjection that outputs a 12volt signal that was used to switch maps be used any longer?

Nope. No need for that relay at the old mapswitch input anymore. That whole input goes unused.

You guys think there will be a difference in the data-log with the new firmware? I was going to data-log today with the current 169, but I'm thinking of just uploading the new firmware today without logging.

Shiv
for v4, do i need to make any changes on my Shiv's Meth Kit ?

is it true that I only need to set furture use 1 value to "1" and press "ON" on the remote keynob (everytime i start the engine) in order to activate Shiv's Meth Kit?

No reason to use #169. Just update to the new version. There will be differences in the logs. Especially if you monitor boost control DC.

Right now, no changes necessary. Once we finish the progresssive mapping logic, all u willing need to do is change one wire (described in my previous post). Instructions to follow later.

Currently u will need to keep future use 1 set to "1" to enable the remote relay. Same as you did with v3/meth.

Yep... been working on new beta maps for the last few days to take advantage of some new bits in the new firmware that I posted yesterday. Still more testing to do. Hopefully up by Tues or Wed. And hopefully with all the remaining features (IAT/oil/coolant boost compensations) and other goodies.

Have the latest(1-22) maps been written for power delivery and suitable for dyno testing?

Just got back from driving with the new firmware. I couldn't do any logging cause of so much traffic everywhere. This is definitely worth the update. There are the few things I notice:
- It feels a tad bit more responsive at throttle (At part throttle)
- Map 2 goes over 7K RPM (Never seen that before)
- Can't seem to notice when the tranny shifts in D (Feels like a CVT)

Shiv, why don't I feel the shifts when driving below 3K RPM? What did you change? I see the RPM range go down in the up-shift, but don't feel anything. Is so smooth.

You guys with the Automatics, tell me if you feel the same thing. Doesn't it feel like a CVT?
Is like it shifts with the power staying the same at tap, but I don't feel the shift going on.

Well, haven't really done any substantial dyno testing yet. Going to wait until we have all the IAT/oil temp boost compensations in place. Not much sense in doing that until all the basic tuning/operational logic is finished.
