a 225 tire is perfectly within specs for both the front and rear rims of the car. there is no danger and no issue with running 225 all around on a sport package car.
rear rim specs: Light alloy rim 81/2JX18 ET:37 8.5" wide tire specs, approved rim width range in bold 225/40R18 Load Index 92 = 1389lbs (630kg) per tire Speed Rating “H” = 130mph (210kph) 92H XL Not required for this tire.None 1389 lbs. 50 psi 11/32" 24 lbs. 7.5-9" 8" 9.1" 7.3" 25.1" 831
