Every set of rears ive changed have had 2mm on inside and 4-5mm on the outside. This is the worst they have ever got. I check my tyres near enough daily chap. Used my car twice over the winter, didnt need changing untill I was using it regularly again.

The PS2 may just have slightly better ultimate dry grip, but in the wet and mixed conditions, the Conti is better. I've been very impressed with them.

they have a good following from the Lexus owners club UK as the "IS" suffers from the same issue. |

I ain't overly keen on the wet weather performance with the Conti's. In the DRY there awesome.
Sportmaxx I don't rate as highly as the Conti's.

Well that would only be for ride comfort then. As our cars run 35 on the front also. I doubt to make the speedo slightly more accurate!? What width are the alpina rears?

Would a 35 profile on the rear at 265 wide make it look like a space hopper tyre do you think? |

I've got 235/35 front and 265/30 profiles on mine. Looks fine.
