I check my tyres near enough daily chap. Used my car twice over the winter, didnt need changing untill I was using it regularly again.

Really? Thats interesting to hear Matt Mate. I thought the PS2 were a better tyre.

I do really rate them. Thinks thats all I will use now.

The PS2 may just have slightly better ultimate dry grip, but in the wet and mixed conditions, the Conti is better. I've been very impressed with them.

Thanks.

I cant use Contis in an upsize fitment at the profile I need to stop the speedo reading miles out unfortunately. 265/35's are 3mph out at 60mph apparently.

Can speedos be recalibrated?

interesting as I'd have said the opposite. I found contis dreadful in the damp greasy conditions. Dunlop Sport Maxx for me!

they have a good following from the Lexus owners club UK as the "IS" suffers from the same issue.

I ain't overly keen on the wet weather performance with the Conti's. In the DRY there awesome.

Sportmaxx I don't rate as highly as the Conti's.

Why are you that bothered mate. I dont think standars sizes are that far out. i think only a couple of mph at 60-70mph.

Just old fashioned I guess.

Interestingly, Alpina run a 35 section front and rear on their 19's.

Well that would only be for ride comfort then. As our cars run 35 on the front also. I doubt to make the speedo slightly more accurate!?

What width are the alpina rears?

265 I believe.

Would a 35 profile on the rear at 265 wide make it look like a space hopper tyre do you think?
