How strong are VMR wheels?
VMRs are one of the best options for affordable wheels. They are all JWL and VIA certified so they will be perfectly capable of regular road use and abuse.

BBS is played out. Classic, but played out. Just my honest opinion.

Classics can't be played out. Now VMR, LC, and CSL reps... they're beyond played.

Totally agree with this. If you plan on putting a lot into performance stick with the 18s.

BBS are racing wheels, and have been around a while. Er go, they are classics for that reason. Real big in the 80's and 90's.

But that staggered, exaggerated rear-lippy look is definitely played out, whether you'd like to admit it or not, unfortunately. Sure it looks good sometimes, but seeing it all over the place is a but monotonous (race track, forums, roads, ghetto magazines, etc). May be a classic, but the concept is dead/dying

Respectfully disagree. Staggering is done for a reason. The look is function not form. Forms changes. Function is classic.

Anything that gets popular can feel "played out" to someone...that doesnt mean that its still not a good option

personally, from this forum i feel like the VMR 710's and VB3's are played out, which is why im looking into new new 718's...and now im starting to like the 701s a lot more too

....and 713s lol ...i like them all, thats the tough part

another thing that made me get 19's vs 18's, was the amount of styles availible. alot of the different wheels that i like wasn't offered in 18's
