e90 335xi + General Altimax Arctic snow tires = tank

I drove this thing around all day. There are some pretty really hilly back roads in the Orangeburg area and the car handled it with no problem. I even stopped on the steepest part and started right back up with no problems.

X-Drive with blizzaks...

I can't see it getting any better.

I've tried 4matic and Lexus' AWD system... they don't compare at all, even when I had Summer ONLY tires on in the snow.

I am really impressed with the TCS and DTC systems in your car.
With them fully on, it's almost impossible to loose control.

I have yet to get stuck and I even stopped in unplowed 1.5ft of snow uphill (30 degree) driveway and started right back up.

NO!

Why would they even give you an "i"?!

Rallye BMW only gives out Xi's as loaners with all seasons on.

I don't drive mine much, but my Dunlop M3's are sweet in the snow and ice.
My E90 is in the garage, but the E46 is outside... hate to see it covered like that.
7-8 more inches today, on top of the 22 last weekend... plus drifting.

we will find out tomorrow. I know one wheel is toed wrong, I hit it straight on with the tire, so im hoping the tire took the brunt of the impact.

I was only going like less than 8mph when i skidded into it (tried the ebrake manuver well before it started to skid and got nothing..thats when I knew i was in trouble.

I know something is amiss cuse the steering wheel is crooked in the other direct that it used to be in. Brolly banged the tie rod end, they are weak in these cars..
