Anytime he's on the car or doing any of this and you see him spray him with some water. Completely harmless and eventually he wont be back as cats hate being wet. This worked for me.

But he WILL scratch your paint in the rush to get off the hood.

I've had two cats for years, and like all cats they do not like the smell of Citrus, but if you really want to get the neighbors cat to stop marking, have it neutered/spade and attach the bill to the cats collar when you return it to your neighbor.

And some people say BMW's don't attact p--sy.

Eat the cat (I'm Korean).

I'd get a pneumatic gun and practice my shooting skills on a motherphuker.

I have the same problem, i started using a car cover, however the darn cats seem to find the car cover more comfortable. I bought a cat repellent at petco and sprayed it on the car cover. It worked however you have to spray your cover everyday. Also, what i like to run outside my house when i am home and chase the cats away like a crazy person. Seems to be working, the dont walk across my driveway anymore and run past my house in the street. Also, i have been using firecrackers to chase cats away. If i see them outside, i go get my firecrackers and slowly go outside to catch the cats by surprise and throw them at the cats. So far i think i am winning i hope that is.

Long story short best advise i can give you is to buy a car cover and use it religiously. spray the repellent everyday and chase the damn cats from your property! Good luck.

I would kill the cat for real...it's just a cat. WAYYYYY cheaper to replace than your car's potentially damaged parts. Besides, it doesn't appear that your neighbor is a responsible pet owner anyway!

Not if it's declawed. If the cat still had claws the OP's hood would be scratched big time.

Sucks. Why would your neighbor laugh? Next time your neighbor asks for a favor laugh in their face. As far as solving the problem the water thing will definitely work. People use water in spray bottles to train cats. Spray it directly at its face.
