I would have gotten V2s, but it's only V1 or V3 for xDrive.

Coils are height adjustable so you can raise in winter and lower in summer and you can get rid of the rake of the xi by setting the front lower than the rear. Coils are only option that are adjustable. Many coils also come with a warranty so even if you void your OEM suspension warranty, your coils are covered.

Hope this helps people
Are you talking in general or just for the e9x?

I used to have Koni Yellows matched with some Eibach Pro Kit on my TSX and the Koni Yellows were adjustable in height and dampening.

Koni Yellows are just dampening adjustable. The spring/mount is what sets ride height. Shocks are not ride-height adjustable.

Koni yellows also only fit on the rear of the xi, they won't fit the front so that's why I stated that only coils are truly adjustable

It looks like some models do provide a height adjustment though it may not be as dramatic as coilover options. I knew I was not going crazy about the possible height adjustability for my TSX. I remember I could change it even though it was like .20 mm or something like that. But in the end, since this is for the e9x's...there is no height adjustability for the Koni shocks from what I am hearing.

KONI Yellow Adjustable Shock Kits Celica

Sport Shocks (Yellow Color) - This series are designed to provide a more aggressive upgrade when compared with the factory setup. It will have a considerable valve rate increase in compression and rebound to provide the highest level of handling possible. Certain vehicle applications will also feature a special height adjustment feature that allows the user to give additional height increase or height reduction desired.

.2mm is smaller than mechanical pencil lead lol
Shocks dampen the spring's deflection. They do no affect ride height.
What you're probably thinking of is the spring perch. Shocks alone cannot adjust ride height. Struts are a different story though.

I think you are right. I believe it was the spring perch that you could adjust which made it not as adjustable friendly as the dampening. The memories are all coming back...installed the entire system on my own...that was a great learning experience but somewhat scary at the same time.
