You have bought an old fuckin shed?
What a way to make a ring trip expensive. You crash now you gonna have more worries than just barriers. http://www.euroncap.com/tests/bmw_3_series_1997/15.aspx Read it, then sell the car.

RSR will hire you a track prepared car for a full day (10 laps) including fuel and lap tickets. They are only 300m from the 'ring and insurance is included in the price. It costs no extra for a second driver so you can split the cost.....its a good option.
How about a R26.R - eveything included will only cost you 500 Euro if you share with a second driver E92 M3 - 800 Euro if shared or go for it with a GT3 Cup for 1000 Euro shared! http://www.rsrnurburg.com/index.php?...d=54&Itemid=95 |

It's very nice to drive to be fair!!!
Much more raw than the E46... No traction control on this one (LSD only) but still, very nicely balanced, classic car insurance including euro cover. Feels meant to be to me. I'm actually thinking I might make a few quid (yeah right) as the car was cheap, cheaper after haggling and is low miles (80k) owners (3) and in very good nick with recent vanos and other stuff done. Is it this one?
http://www.bmwspareparts.com/image_l...L_BLUE_005.jpg Only joking. I think an e36 m3 would be a great laugh. |

Well glad to hear someone thinks it is not the worst idea ever!! It is a HUGE amount of car for the money... This one has the original purchase receipt at £58,000 IIRC... Granted, I don't expect it to be a future classic in the same league as the E30, but not everything old is good.. And despite being perfectly, sublimely balanced etc, the E30 is getting LOOOOOONNNNNGGG in the tooth and definately lacks power for shifting a lump like me! Matt |
