yeah I'm kinda surprised too, although you may be able to boost the m3, i believe the s65 motor will be replaced very soon. Replacement parts wont be readily available once that happens. Anyway, the deed has been done, good luck on your new project, I hope it all works out for you.

+1 N54 will be a very special engine when they are no longer in production....And from what I hear about the M3, I think your right the S65 motor will be replaced with a inline 6 TT from what I read....

But again Congrats to Eugene for the new ride...Good luck with your car and your future mods with the M3!

that's exactly right, i don't know why so many people are dumping bucket loads of $ into the 335i when you can buy an M3 and be done with it. Take a 335i add a JB3, and it's a great car, done.

nice! i would love to do that too myself but for the money I would put into the 335i the m3 would still be far too expensive. You have to remember, youre gonna spend more money to mod the m3 too, like the suspension/wheels/brakes/seats. These rnt cheap items . Not to meantion registration fees... ug.. stupid CA

Congrats on the M3! It's not all about power... well... on the freeway it is =P

Keep the looks stock with a supercharger kit. Nothing like a 600hp sleeper M3!

Always fun to get a new car! Must suck to be the Evolve people though, I bet they were looking forward to you finishing their beta testing on their home flasher unit. What's going to happen with that? Should've waited until that was done before selling her!

This means I will stop my 335i projects and have some parts to sell, especially a brand new quaife, 2 turbos latest design ( 1 right out of the box and one with less than 1K miles on it ) and a brand-new JB3 2.0 PnP (180ohm) with the USB cable.

It was more a commercial decision. Continuing on the projects would have needed quite some investment, the 335i is a 2007 and so I decided to go for the 2009 e93 M3 DCT. It's a beautiful car.

Have a nice day !

Eugen

You guys so luck can buy a 335i or M3 in very cheap price, we need at least US$140,000 to get a E90 M3 and US$180,000 up to get a E92 M3 here in Hong Kong =.='

The M3 suspension is flat out amazing, IMHO it is smoother than the 335. You will have to give us a full review/comparison.

I see you're in Switzerland.... I'd imagine you're in a lower-lying urban area, but there's an awful lot of altitude in that country which would make the bigger NA a moot point.

Good luck Eugene... hope you enjoy the M camp!

Personally, I'm already way too attached to my N54 car to let it go...
