Interesting, sounds like the same power upgrade as for the new E92.

I'm not fussed what configuration of engine it has, it's how it feels to me in everyday use.

On a different subject Kizz, where did you get your 710's from?

Was a company called designer wheels. Heard some dodgy stories bout them on forum after i got mine so exercise caution

Back on topic, i have an m6 in the household aswell and the m3 is much much more relaxed to drive the visibility and size of the 6 series does hamper joy on a country lane.

It is funny how people see things differently.

I thought my M6 was much more comfortable to drive than the E92 M3, and the sound of the V10 at full chat, and the pull at 8500rpm, leaves the M3 for dead. (in a straightline race)

I think Creepycoupe means more torque available low down in the N54 without changing gear, so its much easier to access the available power quicker and in a more relaxed driving stile for day to day use.

I do think if the N54 was put in an M3 and tuned upto 375hp that it would be quicker for the average driver than the M3

But the caveat in all this is the loss of the engine noise. for noise the V8 kills the N54

Three cars that appeal at the moment for me, none of them on your list though.

530xd GT as a family wagon to replace the Quattro A6 or the new Alpina B3s Touring, 400hp and a 0-60mph time of 4.5 seconds, all in complete comfort and a little different.

The new M1, this is going to rock and has far, far more appeal then the M3 does for me.

Its a 1 series M. IE a "BMW 1M". Not a replacement of the M1.
(Think of the X6M naming convention .. for instance )
But it looks like it will be awesome.

As a fanboy BMW will NEVER be considered amazing since it lacks a REAL supercar. When will they pull their finger out and release an R8, Merc Black Edition beater?? If Audi and Merc can do it I'm sure BMW can. The sector BMW currently provides seems to be a "comfort" zone for them atm and even still they're being caught by the Audi's.

Although I realise I am taking you out of context here, I wouldn't compare the older Audi V8's (ala the S4) with a slightly rotten turnip, let alone an N54.

The M3's V8 though? I dunno anything about it to be honest!!

My M3 is putting out about 460bhp and the M6 could still walk away from it without trying. With eisenmann exhaust aswell its spine tingling at full chat. However i dont think the chassis is as balanced as the M3.

I think its a more comfortable long distance car for 2 people, however the rear seats are only for short journeys unless there are kids.

I had a 340bhp 410lb/ft focus st before my m3 and am fully aware on how important torque is however i think u adapt to a different style of driving when you have a n/a car.

OMG that's a quality vid...skipped to about halfway and thought the 335i was coupe. Only to realise later it was an E90. Can you mod up an E90 Pre LCI 335i to the same as say for example E92Fan's with LSD's, proper brakes, nukes under the bonnet and NOs and get the same performance as you would from a coupe?? If so I think I know what BMW I'll buy next...E90 Pre LCI

The bronze looks wrong Kev...I'm surprised you like it. Definitely not gangsta enough. It's not even subtle...very very acquired taste from my POV!
