I don't think that there are any '2006 model year' 335i's. So it's three years whichever way you look at it.

Still .. it's not a happy thought that mine could break.

Update from me, no IT last night

Email exchage on Monday with dealer was non commital

"My technician has just completed the repairs as i speak!
We have replaced cylinder no 3 spark plug, ignition coil and
fuel injector as the components were diagnosed as defective.
The symptom was caused by component failure, causing the engine
warning light to come on."

Just collected this afternoon, One new coil, one new plug, one new injector. On the same cylinder as last time

Couldnt be arsed to ask any questions to be honest, just had to drive all the way from Bristol to pick it up in an Diesel Insignia and my head hurt!

Just feels wonderful to be back in it after a few days in Vauxhalls finest (not a bad car actually)

Do the '06 325's have the same coil pack, injector issues? I've had the check engine light with O2 sensor too lean and cyl 4,5,6 misfires. Put in new plugs, 2 precat O2 sensors and the light still comes on. With the new O2 sensors, gas mileage is way better now but there is still some hesitancy in the engine. I don't want to foul up my O2 sensors with some underlying problem here. They're pricy.

switching off the engine will only remove the warning light temporarily...but will eventually come back again!...

This is sounding like the 320i issues. Four injectors, coils, spark plugs, NOx sensor, throttle flap and mine still ain't right......
