I'd actually be game

It's not really that far, I've got some friends in Racine that I visit frequently so I'm used to the drive. Is anybody else up for it?!

If all else fails, ProKart in Maple Grove can be a great place for meets...Good parking lot, decent roads, and karting!

I can set it up so it's $10/ride, as opposed to $20. There is also a party room and grilling.

I know Martin threw this out there already but what about if not comin' out to Madison we do a combined meet in the Wisconsin Dells (little closer to you guys)? You can bunk there in a nice hotel or even rent a big house (sleep 12-16 people) for a few hundred bucks for the night if you want to.

What kind of power output does that thing have with those monstrous turbos? Is it an MN car or is it just up here visiting?

well if its just us locals probably the 10th but 99% of us are flexible on dates so if you guys did want to do this we could do it at a later date too... i know the 17th/18th was what you had discussed.

just let us know soon so we can plan and make a nice big meet. Could probably convince some of my Chicago guys to come up too.

The 10th works for me - we were planning a local meet on the 17th, and I would still like to attend that for the guys who can't travel.

Anybody else interested in this?

hmmm, why don't we try for late april/early may doing something like this? I just think it might work out better if we have more time to recruit guys/plan out the details and hell, maybe we'll get 30-40 cars like those guys in Cincy did last year. If we rush it chances are most people won't be able to attend.

yeah dells sounds cool... not EXTREMELY far for anyone (3 hrs from Chi, 2 from Milwaukee and 3.5ish from you guys) and there is a lot of stuff to do and places to stay over night.

I'm horrible with mini golf as is, I'll be embarrassed playing real golf.

It's probably a good idea to start up a MN/WI/Chicago meet thread and get everyones input. I'm available in April. However, if the meet is going to be in May, I will only be available mid-May since I'll be out of traveling.

Who wants to start that thread???

I'm in Martin. Up until this year I was traveling pretty much every other week for work, so I'm enjoying having nothing to do at the weekends. Therefore, pretty much any weekend suits me!

Would be great to have an MN/WI/Chi meet
