What do YOU do to afford a 335 in College?
Im assuming Mommy and Daddy bought it.. so when you get OUT of college, just get them to buy you a new M3....

Sales is great and gives you the potential to make a boatload of money. You need to be good at it or you'll be broke forever. My fathers in sales an does very very well for himself.
As for what you should do, what is your degree in? You need to find something you enjoy doing then find a job that involves it. When you love what you do you put in just that much more effort and make the green. |

Be an entrepreneur and own your own business doing something you like. Get a good niche idea, find a large enough market to sell it, work hard, and soon you’ll be driving the M3. Better than the car you will be your own boss and not a slave to the machine.

Just have your parents buy it for you.. seems to be working so far for you.
Getting a job that just pays is not very smart IMO. Like everyone else said, do what you like and that will make you that much better at it. But seriously, much easier if you just live off your parents. Jobs are over rated.

I keep hearing radio ads from bryman college about being a personal trainer. Maybe you should jump on that boat, it sounds like a stellar idea.

I worked and saved up $50k and now I am a full-time day trader. I trade the 6E or Euro currency futures market and make between $1250-2500 per day. Of course not every day is a winning day but through money management and high probability trade set ups I average around $20k per month. I only trade from 6:15am to 9:00am Pacific time and the average time in a trade is like 10-15 min.
This is not a get rich quick scheme, it took me several years to save up $50k and then about a year of trading trial and error to get to this point.

My title is Director of IT, but i am paid no more than a typical IT Manager. But damn do i love to do what i do, with a team of developers, designers and administrators. Do i care i get paid less? sometimes.. Do I ever want to make more money.. sure.. Is it the time? Probably not.. Love the environment, love my coworkers... would not trade it for anything unless its 2x the money. Best part about my job? Whatever idea i have for e-commerce, CRM or networking.. I go buy it, R&D it.. Someone financing my passion. One day, with enough practice, i will run my own firm.. until then... i am letting someone trial my idea. |

Impossible?
What is a director responsible for? In way, you act as a mentor and be responsible of the technology you put in. Having a great insight in what the future is to be like.. and how to pursue it. However you are right.. i also need 10+ years of exp, that is why i don't have the payroll for a director, but act on the responsibility that comes with it. When i go job searching, i put IT manager. |

I agree with everyone that stated to do what interests you. Heterosexual porn-stars in men-on-men films make very good earnings. You can easily afford a new M3 with the mod's of your dreams, but can you see your enjoying of men? Get my drift? I applogoize if I had offended anyone. I was just tryin' to make a point.

adult website. j/k So glad to see that pretty much everyone that's chimed in so far has enough sense to state for the OP to not get into something just so he can get nice things, but to do something they like.

I hate the drive more than anything. I always sit in my car and wish I had the Force (or telekinesis) so I could Force push every car out of the way up until work. anyways to my advice (besides the "do what you love") College helped me learn what I hated. I hated taking orders from idiots, I hated not being able to chose my next steps, I hated not being able to chose my peers and I hated to know that for all my hard work someone else benefited from it. Figure out what you hate, and by process of elimination you get to what you love A lot of people don't know what they love which leads to the whole "what should I do after college" debate. So "Do what you love" probably doesn't apply to the OP. Figure out what you hate and do the opposite

You know the world will throw unexpected things your way. I wanted nothing more than to study law. I had been in the military and one day I get a call to become a private defense contractor. I am doing well off now and was not what I had planed. I hope you get that M3 everyone should get what they want if work for it.

Whatever you do, unless you are independently wealthy, do not go into medicine.
