ok so managed to get if off. i cut the spoiler off with fishing line but somehow managed to damage the paint so now have to have the bootlid resprayed. the betalink was hard but not impossible to remove. it can be destroyed by heating with a hot air gun but i worried it may affect the paint. the problem is its very hard and quite thick, i used the plastic spatular that comes with the betalink to scrape most of the betalink off so all that remaind was a thin smear, i then used a cleaner, not the betalink one, and rubbing hard i removed the rest of it. the laquer had some marks in it but i could have lived with it had i not damaged the paint. i will be using 3m tape to fix the new spoiler which i now have. anyone not sure about these dont be they are superb and look the business!!
