Ive seen pics of your car before with those rims, I like them a lot. Hows the ride with 19s and the drop in NY?

Welcome to the club! I've had this combo for about 7 months now and I'm very happy with it!
I'll post some pics when I take them, but it looks very similar to phozenstone's car. |

They are made specifically for non-Xi vehicles but they work just fine on our Xi's. So search for 335i springs. Make sure you pair them with the new Shocks to get the perfect ride. GL

Any updates after a month with this setup? I am really leaning towards this combo for this summer.

Well I put my new 18" wheels on and they look great, unfortunately the weather is not cooperating with me and I haven't had a chance to properly clean and take new pics of the ride. My unofficial comparison using my eye to compare it to stock 335i cars with sport suspension tells me that my car is a touch lower. I will update the pics as soon as I can.

I too want a slight drop, for me...comfort comes 1st, then looks, then handling cuz this is my daily driver and I need to drive in heavy snow in the winter.
I've been waiting for the right reasonable XI setup for over 4 years...LOL please keep us updated

Updated Pics on 1st page!
Ive been getting a lot of feedback and requests for updates so this morning I took a quick dirty and wet (LOL) pic to update the thread. I know if I was waiting the suspense would be killer! I love the way it turned out, Id say it came down another 1/8" and its perfect for me. Yeah the front is still higher than the rear but that doesn't bother me. The 18's plus Sumitomos are softer than the 17's and RFT! As you can also see, Ive made a couple mods in addition to suspension...slight teaser! Enjoy, because I am! |

most ppl here (maybe 80%) prefer to drop it low but there are some like myself that doesn't like it too low

Thanks, when I finally get a chance to detail it there are some nice spots around me to take some photos so Ill make sure Ill get all angles but this is a good comparison from roughly the same angle and distance from no-drop to right after drop to settled drop + new wheels.

How does your car feel in terms of handling compared to stock x-drive? I assume it must give the all wheel drive some major bonus, making it more of a performance awd, yes?

Ive never owned or driven a performance AWD car before like a WRX or anything but I can tell you that most of the body roll and all of the general floaty feeling is gone now. Turn in is a lot tighter and pushing it on a long curved on ramp feels worlds better now. All while having a stock like ride (meaning not harsh or bouncy).
