Guys, curious to know if when you run on the standard map settings if there is any smoke from the rear, the seller website says 'no'.
But when you go playing with the jumpers, either +10%, +20% or +30%.... does it start to churn out black smoke? Hoping to ascertain from you guys just what is the absolute sweet spot for these on the new 320d's... thx

Do you have a DPF? Not sure whether the 320d does or not.

luster reported in OZ section that Map 1 +30% produces good power, but also produces smoke.
So we need to find the sweet spot - Map ? +?%

no smoke but then I have a DPF in my car.
Driving wise car jut pulls really well throughout the rev range with no flat spots. It can be handfull in wet but apart from that no problems. However I've also had replaced my exhaust with a straight pipe removing mid box and a new BCS back box. Old exhaust had a crack in it so good reason as any FYI when on map 1 on 0 it rolled 199 bhp few months ago.

I just installed the CRD-T on my E91 LCI 318d yesterday. I had some problems finding the boost sensor but I took a picture of my engine, emailed it to Andrew and within 5 minutes he had answered me, editing my photo with a big arrow. Andrew has been great help throughout the whole installation. He even called me back after I sent the final confirmation photo to point out that I had plugged in the boost sensor the wrong way around (oops). Probably the best support I've experienced from any company.
So far I have only tried program 1 +0% but I am looking for excuses to drive around and play with the others You can feel the change right away. I really like my car but the power lag between 1000 and 1500 was a bit annoying. Now it is completely gone. The car feels a lot smoother and faster in acceleration. Can't wait to try the other settings. Like others on this thread, I explored power boxes because my ECU was locked. I know there are different opinions on what is better, remap or power box, but in my case I like the idea of having different programs to play around with. |

That is the same case as mine. 177 bhp 320d auto. It doesnt affect anything. Gear changes are the same. Torque converter handles the extra torque perfectly. My mechanic test drove it with the DTUK box fitted and he was very impressed.
Get it. You will not regred. The gains are amazing. My car also has 90.000 miles when i fitted it.

Hey guys,
I own a BMW E90 320d (177ΗΡ) which is already improved with the BMW Performance Diesel Power Kit, raising the power to 197HP. I am thinking of getting this CRD-T box for my car, and I would like some newer reviews from the users that already have tried it (magic77, chrisbmwcy, luster, zorglubxx). Will this be fitting properly to my new ECU from the PPK installation? Any errors or problems caused by the box? Gearbox is manual in my E90 320d, but will it handle properly the torque increase? Thanks in advance
