Serious gains.
Same expected gains for the 330i? Or possibly more?

I personally think the 330 has a small margin for greater potential, just because of the manifold, but only time will tell.

Delta:

this is on my stock motor, i tok everything out of it - except a K&N drop in filter ( i didnt have an OEM one)

will be available next week - I will have a GB going for it once I get the price nailed down - but dont expect a Powerbox price.. lol

Are you running this on top of the PBX??
And what's the price going to be locked in around, $500 or more?

Oh No!

This does everything the PBX does, but better.

way more power, much smother shifting and a new engine and exhaust tone, faster throttle, comes with an OBD2 flasher that you can plug in to switch between 2 preloaded maps (tuned for your car)

Wont void a warranty, because its coded in and not scanable.

I know for a fact its over 500.

but then again the power is worth it 100%, im getting the dyno sheets all organized for it and will will post them to show you guys the even curve and power gains.

Yes, the pbx is completely worth it. for now at least. Time will only tell about this new tune Craven is talking about. Certainly perked my ears up. But as he said, it will probably be over 500 bucks... so if you are looking for a cheaper way to gain some pwoer, then a pbx is absolutely the way to go. and no harmful effects driving around on map 3. thats wht I do.

Keep us posted Craven. I am excited to see the dyno and hear the news on the 330. Cheaper the better in price as always...

I think I would advise against stacking them, it would be pretty wild since ive had the PBX before this, and now have this.

plus it would probably throw the air/fue out of whack and create knock.. havent tried it and dont think i want to lol

I have chipped my car in Wintertuning and I will post dyno in the week, as I know they are the only one, who can upgrade also Valvetronic. By upgrading valvetronic you should gain more with more rpms.. I made with Harald Winter the contract to serve overseas customer, also there can be some interesting discounts given.

here is the dyno from WT.

Craven, would this tune be traceable by the dealer? The gains sound nice if they are at the wheels. Maybe got to save up for it...so it improves throttle response as well?

This not not traceable by a dealer, and yes the gains are at the wheels - done on a dyno dynamics (which reads 23%less then a dynojet) and throttle is improved, this has the ability to control valvelift, timing, fuel and air, vanos its all covered and tweaked to gain power.

This is the beta tune we are going back for another round because we know there is more in this car, just need to do some fine tuning.

Will this be like a PBX install of a software flash?

GIAC Flash is pretty impressive! We have installed it on many customer cars and everyone has left satisfied.

Easier, you get your own OBD2 tuner, and plug it in, hit map 1 or map 2 and it loads and your done. 30 seconds.

for the whole set up, its well worth it, you can have unlimited maps on your computer, then hook your OBD2 to your USB and mix and match, you can have a 100 octane race gas map as one and a valet mode as another, or whatever you want.

whatever they say as the price it will be well worth it.

this car is so much more alive, and sounds mean. Ive got the "is that an m3?" question twice since i got it done on saturday lol
