Spare kit
I ditched the run-flat summer tires and I plan on purchasing a Tire Rack tire-tote bag and throwing one of my front 18" factory rims mounted with a Blizzak winter tire as my spare. It all ready has a TPMS installed. I have a spare lite weight Jack and a torque wrench so I will just have to find a small bag and a way to strap it all down. I don't feel like ruining my TPMS with the various fix a flat products!

This kit is 100% available in north american BMW dealerships!!!! Just called after seeing this post. Only downside is that is in fact $500CAD or $380USD for the kit. Its also a perfect fit with an Outside diameter of 24.87".
I think I will order this, it should pay for itself when I purchase my new winter tires and summers. (only downside I guess would be actually needing to use it on a cold day or at the side of a highway vs run flats and just driving home nice and comfy) Anyone know of anywhere cheaper to source this kit? |
