What are the options for Amber Delete for E90 2006 Headlights? LCI? Covers? Replace?

So you guys are able to successfully open the light housing? I've been hesitant to do this because of how brutal the work looked from some others who have opened them up before. Can you show some photos of the entire unit? Can you tell it's been opened up after you're done?

I also went with smoked but did a vinyl overlay. Bought them precut from a member here a while back. Install was super easy and was super cheap, <$20!
