The new STIs and Evos seem a bit confused with the 2009+ WRX being so fast and the STI and Evo being so expensive and trying to be refined, but ultimately still feeling cheap and extremely overpriced. I liked the power delivery on my 06, but the 08 felt extremely peaky and the 6700 rpm redline made the peaky nature that much more short lived. Twin-turbo power and no lag + german refinement = match made in heaven.

With those rims though yours is the best looking new STI i've seen so far though!
Thanks! yes, the 09+ WRX really caught everyone off guard, and now the 2011's will basically look the same as the STI, so knows what the fuck is going on with Subaru.. The WRX is the best its ever been, but agreed, the STI is just getting old and overpriced.

Cool, I think I've got a good idea of that from the Carfax, but sounds like you may have more specific info. PM sent...

aww man, yeah, with the trade -in tax credit compared to buying straight out, its almost the same, maybe a tad more, but thanks for your kind words on the car!

Can these cars run without TPMS? or will it shut down/go to half power or anything weird like that?

quick question - will the newer M3 wheels fit the e92/e90 chassis? I would assume so, but wanted to confirm.

A light on the dash is one thing, but it looks like you have NAV and the repeated "pull over now" alert that blocks out your screen got pretty annoying fast. Maybe there is a way to turn the sensors off entirely, but I wound up buying 4 more for my new wheels.

Yeah, I may just pony up and buy em. Just need to make a final determination on rims first.

I had owned that car hahaha
I traded to 2010 M3.
Congret~~

The muffler is stock. I just changed stock dual tips to quad tips.

I had installed kw-v3, VRS trunk, BOV and BBS LM-R...etc...
but I already sold all parts, but I still have the VRS trunk.

Congret again~

If you didn't know, when looking for wheels/tires, on the xi you have to keep the same rolling diameter as stock when upgrading, or your awd system can be damaged. Also, the TPMS are pretty reasonably priced if you order them from Tischer, well worth the investment.

I'm not familar with Tischner. I'll google them, or if you have a link, that would be great.

Yeah, I was looking at 225/40 and 255/35 for tires. Is there a link to a "rolling stock" calculator type thing? I know tirerack was telling me which type of setup to run, as well as conversing with VS motorsports on here as well.
