UDUB Badger,
I need help here as I'm ready to buy some LCI Halogens, but I'm still unsure of one thing. We know that LCI halogens fit on a PreLCI halogen car, but I still don't know if it's a direct plug and play on a pre-LCI that currently has xenon? So my car is a 2008 sedan with AHL xenon with the orange markers. With that set up, will there be any issues with plugging in "Halogen" LCIs like the ones that you have? Also, curious what those red things are under your hood. |

Thanks Craven. This is driving me bonkers. So I guess, if I want to go the "easy" route and pay more, I would have to go with the LCI Xenons. I'm assuming those are plug and plug. Wait a sec, if I recall from the thousands of posts, the LCI Xenons have the LED signal, which would require some extra wiring, but not too difficult. I guess between myself and my electrical engineer friend, we can figure out a way to make sure we don't botch it.
My other option is to wait til this lease is up next year and get a new 335i and stop messing around with lci conversion stuff. But you know, I actually prefer the blackline taillights on my '08 sedan much better than the '09+ taillights. |
