And same effect? Not sure how...... The iPod doesn't have the same functionality in a car that the iPad does. It's just so much more user friendly in an automobile setting. And as far as passenger entertainment... It doesn't even come close. Sorry you hate the iPad.... It's a great device that has many features that I love. While not perfect, it is the best tablet out right now and I believe apple will always have the upper hand in their touch screens and possibly their user interface as well. And thank you. It turned out well but I am still wanting a little more aesthetically pleasing setup. |

What does that mean? How is it unsafe in an accident? It's not sharp... Won't become a projectile.... Idk what your referring to.
If you mean that the device itself will cause me to get into an accident then I disagree entirely. It is much much safer than using an iPod. It is much larger and thus much easier to navigate through while driving. What do you think is safer, manipulating a small iPod on a dock in the ashtray or manipulating a large 9 inch touchscreen mounted in a much more convenient location? Yes, if used improperly the iPad could become lethal. However, I am responsible and will not attempt to abuse the ipads functions in this way. |

Well, I would just hate to hurt that pretty wood trim.......
I am an apple freak too. I am just in love with the user interface. And ghetto? I mean no hard feelings or anything... But ghetto..... Hmmmm.... I agree it leaves something to be desired. Which I am working on... But it doesn't look that bad... At least I don't think so... And I suppose that's all that maters. I would love your suggestions though. |

Op, Looks good. I'm thinking about mounting this in the back seat for a rear seat entertainment system. Hopefully powermat will come out with a product for the iPad and I can wireless charge and stream music to my car.
