lol...no is not flywheel hp. But wheel hp. The operator must do some conversion for that. It's just because he cannot change the prg...300hp with stock boost and all my mod...do you think realy is flywheel hp?...lol All the world know our n54 have around 320hp at flywheel in stock form. Maybe 10-15 too hight compare to dynojet dyno...but it's whp. Is same if you compare mustang dyno to dynojet... The important is the delta between runs.

Bob, it is a torque target car. I guarantee you that if you go to a legit load bearing dyno you will find the 300 hp rating is spot on for the 335i. 260 rwhp is the very, very consistent number stock you will get on a Mustang Dyno. It is clear that dyno is biasing about 10% too high.

You have to expect when you post 430 rwhp for a Map 7 run on pump that it will raise the eyebrows of a lot of people. These numbers are so much higher than any XI with bolt on mods that you must know it is not correct.

Regardless, Bob Vader has proven to be an incredibly valuable member of the forums. He has an 11 second manual and deserves respect.

Yes I know you have reason for these dyno see more higher than other dyno guys use here. But for me the difference between 282hp vs 300hp vs 440-445hp is that is important. And if I go on another dyno...like dynojet I will see this 150 hp gain too.

Thanks

**and 10% compare to Mustand Dyno..yes but not with dynojet...never...

I think 140-145 rwhp delta is legit Bob. I had a 150 rwhp delta on my car on a Mustang dyno too. You plan on adding nitrous to the car for the track?

Thanks

A small 35 shot will harm nothing. I have done a tone of testing on nitrous thus far and speak with quite a bit of confidence on the subject. I actually think the N54 is one of the best platforms available for nitrous because the DME is ultra fast in adapting. 500 crank is good, but not enough. I am aiming for 700 rwhp.

The clutch will be the first to go. From there, no one really knows. It has been proven that he clutch is worth around 450 rwhp at most with a far reduced life. The internals have held strong thus far on my 525 rwhp on the nitrous. I think it is really hard to tell, but I still feel comfortable at 500 rwhp. North of that is uncharted waters and hence the reason I am doing the build.

Excellent info. I'm at about 425 whp on my car and I love it just they way it is for a daily driver/sleeper. At 425whp I think the car is going to last a long time based on all the input from people like FBIS.
