LM's turbo's are obviously still just getting tuned in so I expect more and better from them too.

Yea thats the reason you see the plateau, is because of the small turbine wheel. Its to small to support any more power.

True to a degree. But I suspect the bigger restriction at this power level are the two turbo inlet pipes that wrap around the front and back of the engine. They are small ID and flattened. Can't imagine it being good for the flow requirements these power levels demand. Would be interesting to put a vacuum gauge on one of them and run a car with big turbos at 20psi. I'm sure it will pull measurable vacuum which is BAD.

I wouldn't be surprised if simply upgrading those would be worth another 20-30whp with no other changes. Only problem is that they are prohibitively difficult to get remove and replace.

I think i found my first mod!! What tuner do i need to run these? will i see gains if i just do the turbo's and a tune? I don't want to do all the rest as this is my daily driver and don't want loud exhaust or want to have inspection issues?

I think we'll (eventually) see custom piping/routing and maybe even mounting a bigger single turbo in a different spot.

Unless you have all the supporting boltons this upgrade doesn't make sense..
